About distribution lists

A distribution list is a collection of contacts, both public and personal, and web office members. Distribution lists allow you to send email to multiple people at one time. Distribution lists are useful when you have to email a group of people on a regular basis, for example, departments, clubs, family members, and so on.

Your web office can have several types of distribution lists:

All three types of distribution list appear in the Address Book. You can recognize personal distribution lists because they have this icon beside them.

Changes to contacts and members

If you delete a contact or member, or edit a contact or member's email address, your changes are automatically reflected in any distribution lists to which that contact or member belongs.
